New versions of WordPress follow a general pattern: odd numbered releases are mostly back-end upgrades, and even numbered releases carry with them feature additions, front-end upgrades, and changes.
While WordPress 3.7 was focused on a lot of under the hood features, the focus of WordPress 3.8 has been on improving the user interface, meaning a lot of visual features.
If you want details, check out wordpress.org but my purpose for this post is to give you a heads up in case you have a maintenance plan with Umpqua Web Design and see dramatic visual changes when you get into the back end of your site.

You don’t like black? There are eight options for color schemes, so feel free to pick one you like.
To do so, go to the dashboard, click on Users and then Your Profile.
